Library at Gower College Swansea

The college’s modern multimedia libraries enable students to study in their own time and at their own pace. The library has everything you need to get ahead in your education. Qualified and experienced staff ensure that the library provides a friendly and relaxed environment as well as catering for most students’ learning styles.

Resources include:

  • books for reference and loan on all subjects;
  • journals, newspapers, CDs and DVDs;
  • past examination papers and current syllabuses;
  • online information resources and IT drop-in facilities; and
  • access to Moodle, the college’s e-learning environment, and the internet.

Students can also access the college’s quality learning resources 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the comfort of their home PC via the college website.

Our learning advisors can also work with you and your lecturers to help you find the most up-to-date information and develop your research skills.

Monday – 8:45am – 4:30pm.
Tuesday - Thursday 8:45am – 5:30pm

Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 4:30pm
Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm

Monday 9:30am – 12:30pm / 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Tuesday 9:00am - 12:30pm / 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Thursday 9:30am – 1:30pm / 2:00pm – 4:00pm
