Please note that policies that pre-date the formation of Gower College Swansea in August 2010 will still refer to 'Swansea College' and 'Gorseinon College'.

Welsh Language Policy
Gower College Swansea adopts the principle that, in the conduct of public business in Wales, it will treat both the Welsh and English language on the basis of equality.

We look forward to developing a new and robust Welsh Language Scheme for Gower College Swansea, but in the meantime, we will continue to honour the main administrative commitment of the former Gorseinon and Swansea Colleges Welsh Language Schemes.

Freedom of Information
Adopting a publication scheme is a requirement of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

This Act promotes greater openness and accountability across the public sector by requiring all ‘public authorities’ to make information available proactively through a publication scheme.
