
Sage Accounts
This course is designed to be an introduction to SAGE computerised packages using Sage Line 50 Financial Controller software, which is one of the fastest growing Accounting software packages in the UK.
It is preferable to have experience of manual book-keeping but this is not essential. All students are expected to have a basic level of computer skills. Open to students of all ages
There is 'hands on' computer work combining theory and practical plus computerised Accounting use of Sage line 50 including:
- Posting to accounts
- Maintaining ledgers
- Processing sales and purchase documents
- VAT returns
- Profit and loss accounts
- Trial balances
- Balance sheets
- Bank reconciliation
- Petty cash transactions
- Completion and printing of company invoices
All tuition is based around classroom lectures by highly qualified and experienced members of staff. There is a final short assessment plus a portfolio of evidence supplied by the student.
Opportunity to progress to the Association of Accounting Technicians courses in Accountancy. The course also provides a qualification that employers are looking for.
