
Coaching Within a Call Handling Environment
Course Overview:
This course aims to equip the coach with suitable skills in order to coach individuals in a call handling environment.
Entry Requirements:
There are no official entry levels however the student needs to be able to practice the skills obtained in the workplace.
Course Delivery:
The course includes sections on:
- How to give positive/negative feedback
- How to identify individual learning style/techniques
- How to check skills learnt are put into practice by team members
The course is delivered via a workshop, with an on-going assessment. There will also be role-play activities that candidates will be required to participate in.
Progression Opportunities:
Upon successful completion of this course, candidates may wish to undertake a Direct Training and Support NVQ.

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Identify the skills necessary to match coaching opportunities to individuals learning needs and objective of the organisation.
- Identify the type of coaching techniques specific to individuals
- Give positive/negative feedback
