
Emergency First Aid at Work
Course Overview:
This course enables the successful candidate to be able to act safely and promptly in an emergency situation in the workplace. On completion of this training, successful candidates will be able to:
- understand the role of the first aider;
- assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly, and effectively in an emergency;
- administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and
-
administer first aid to a casualty with minor injuries.
Entry Requirements:
- You need to be a minimum of 16 years of age,
- You do not hold a valid first at work qualification,
- This is an interactive course which requires the student to participate in physical activity.
Course Delivery:
The course is delivered over six hours and is assessed as set out below:
- continual assessment by the tutor, and
- completion of the self test worksheets.
Progression Opportunities:
We offer First Aid at Work course and a Pediatric First Aid Qualification.

This course is accredited by STA and is valid for 36 months
