
Electrotechnical Technology 2330
Course Overview
The aim of this electrical course is to provide and help develop regulation knowledge, practical skills and science required to undertake electrical installation work. This course will cover installation (buildings and structures,) relevant theory and practical based training.
The course will also provide an understanding of the health and safety requirements governing electrical installation processes and knowledge of the organisation and structure of the electrical industry within which these activities are carried out.
- Unit 301 (Multi choice exam)
- Unit 302 (Practical assessment and written exam)
- Unit 303 (Practical assessment and written exam)
Upon completing this course, successful candidates will receive a City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology. This award is designed to contribute towards the knowledge and understanding necessary for Electrotechnical NVQs.

Delivery
The course is delivered through formal lessons and practical activities. The course culminates in a multiple choice online exam and two practical assessments.
Requirements
City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent qualifications at the same level.
Progression
Electrical Engineering - BTEC HNC Level 4 / Modern Apprenticeship / Progress to university to study for an Electrical Engineering degree
