IOSH Managing Safely

Course Overview: 

The course is designed for managers and supervisors with day to day health and safety responsibilities.

The IOSH Courses are nationally recognized and respected qualifications, designed and quality controlled by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

Entry Requirements: 

No previous health and safety knowledge is required.

Course Delivery: 

Modules include:

  • Introduction to managing safely
  • Risk Assessment
  • Risk Control
  • Organisation and responsibilities
  • Hazard Identification
  • Accident Investigation
  • Measuring performance
  • Protecting the environment
  • Test and project

We have a number of options for the method of delivery, either:

  • Block release – intensive course where candidates attend one week taught study
  • Day release – one day per week taught study for the duration of the course
  • Client bespoke - i.e. over two consecutive weeks, three days the first week and two days the following week

A certificate is issued by IOSH denoting successful achievement of the course.
