Course Overview:

This programme is suitable if you are a practising senior leader/manager or work in a training and development role and you already have some experience of coaching and mentoring. It will equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as a coach/mentor as part of your leadership or management role in either the public or private sector.

By the end of the programme you will:

Understand theories of coaching
Have practised your coaching skills extensively in a supportive environment
Have been challenged and supported to improve your performance
Be able to share your skills with colleagues
Be confident that your own coaching practice is both safe and relevant.

D7.01 Critically reviewing the role of the leadership mentor or executive coach in developing leadership performance
D7.02 Critically reviewing own ability to perform effectively as a leadership mentor or executive coach
D7.03 Undertaking leadership or executive coaching
