Students mark Holocaust Memorial Day

Gower College Swansea

Students at Gower College Swansea have attended workshops to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2012.

This year, the theme has been Speak Up, Speak Out with the workshops exploring the dangers of hatred and intolerance and how we can all use our voices to help create a better and safer future.

Among those taking part were Level 2 Art and Design students from the Llwyn y Bryn campus (pictured).

“Every year we mark this event at the college,” says Equality and Diversity Leader Jane John. “The theme of Speak Up, Speak Out is particularly relevant as it is something that we can all apply to our day to day experience.”
