Rosie heads to RADA

Rosie with Dean of Arts and Humanities Ruth Prosser

Graduating Gower College Swansea student Rosie Sheehy has been swamped with offers from some of the UK’s leading performing arts institutions.

Port Talbot resident Rosie, who studied A Level Drama at the Gorseinon campus, has been offered places at RADA, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the London Contemporary Dance School.

“For a student to have so many offers is an incredible achievement but we’re not surprised as Rosie has made an excellent contribution to the college’s performing arts department, taking roles in major productions such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” says lecturer Rosalind Taylor. “She is also, in her spare time, a member of the West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company and the County Youth Dance Company. We wish her all the best!"
