Law and Practice - Certificate
Course Overview:
This course was developed to recognise the growing number of students who are either interested in a short but rounded introduction to Law and Practice or who have a specific learning need within an area of Law and Legal Practice.

Course Delivery:
This qualification consists of five units, which are individually accumulated. Each unit is regarded as a worthwhile achievement in its own right and certification is available at unit level.
Students can complete the Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice en-route to the larger (10 unit) Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice.
To achieve the Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice you must achieve five units in accordance with the following rules:
- Unit 1 Introduction to Law and Practice
- Unit 16 Client Care Skills
- Unit 17 Legal Research Skills
Plus one Practice unit and the Law unit linked to the Practice unit chosen.
Progression Opportunities:
The ILEX Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice

Students need to be aware of the following costs
Registration fee = £35
Annual student membership = £50
Exam fees = approximately £200
Extra fees may be payable if you wish to gain exemptions for work previously studied.
