Cymraeg / Welsh - Mynediad Yr 1

**Courses will start in September 2013.  Course information will be available from June.**

Cwrs Mynediad is the first in a series of course books that will help you to speak and understand Welsh. The emphasis is on discussing personal details. The past tense is also introduced in this course. 

Entry Requirements

Mynediad 1 is suitable for complete beginners or for people with a basic knowledge of the Welsh language. 

Course Delivery

Mynediad Courses: “Cwrs Mynediad” course book (£14.95) and practice pack (£2.50) Author Elin Meek.

Course materials can be bought at Tŷ Tawe Shop, Christina Street, Swansea and all other good book shops.

Fees
The fees are shown per course in the course list. There are two categories. Full fee and concessionary fee. If you are in receipt of one of the following concession, are a full time student or in receipt of a pension you can receive a concession:

  • Income Support
  • Job Seekers Allowance
  • Severe Disablement Benefit
  • Housing Benefit
  • Working Tax Credit
  • Incapacity Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit

 You must bring proof that you are eligible as you enrol (eg a copy of a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions).

 The following scheme may provide assistance with fees and the other costs:

South West Wales for Adult Centre Bursary – The centre has a bursary to help people who wish to learn Welsh but have difficulties paying the fees. Phone 01792 602070 for details and an application form.
