Certificate for Essential Skills Practitioners: Literacy

This course is for people who work, or want to work, with essential skills learners to help them to improve their literacy, numeracy and/or language skills in a work-based learning context, an adult and community learning context, a college context or other suitable provisions such as secure establishments.

Course Delivery

Students have to undertake a minimum of 15 hours delivery in a basic skills setting, they also must have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths

Assessment is through assignments, portfolio and placement observations.

Additional Information

The course runs for 3.5 hours a week for 30 weeks, commencing September 2012.
