
Professional Diploma in Marketing

This course is for marketers with operational responsibilities and an eye on management – including department managers, functional managers, account managers and business development managers, as well as those who are looking to build on the knowledge gained at Professional Certificate level.
The aim of this qualification is to provide the knowledge, skills and ‘ability to do’ that a typical Marketing Manager would need. The qualification is a hybrid of marketing with a considerable emphasis on management as marketers move from specialist aspects of marketing into either a functional or department role.
An interview is required plus:
- A Degree with at least 120 credits in Marketing or
- Masters with least 60 credits in Marketing or
- Professional Certificate in Marketing or
- Extensive experience in a marketing management role that has provided potential students with ability to evidence that they can meet the learning outcomes of the CIM Professional Certificate
Unit 1 - Marketing Planning Process
Unit 2 - Delivering Customer Value through Marketing
Unit 3 - Managing Marketing
Unit 4 - Project Management in Marketing
The modules focus on providing insights into the key aspects of managing marketing function as well as recognising various departmental opportunities such as channel management, communications, customers and new product development.
There is one exam and three assignments
The Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing
Additional costs will include CIM membership (£160*) and Administration of Assessment (£300*) payable directly to CIM.
