Methods of payment

How do I pay my course tuition fees?
A tuition fee deposit of £2000 is payable at least three months before the course start date or on receipt of your offer letter if applying within three months of the course start date.

This deposit is non-transferable from one term/year to another and can only be refunded if your student visa application is unsuccessful or if your course is cancelled by the college and no suitable alternative is available. On receiving your deposit, we will issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number (no sooner than three months before your course start date.) You can use this number to apply for your Tier 4 student visa.

The remainder of your tuition fees must be paid at enrolment. Failure to pay the balance at enrolment will mean that you cannot enrol and start studying at the college. There is no reduction in fees if you arrive later than the course start date or, for whatever reason, leave your course earlier than expected.

Refund policy
A refund will only be given if:

  • A course is cancelled by the college and no suitable alternative is available.
  • A student has been refused permission to study in the UK despite all financial evidence and qualifications certification being in order. In this case, the student must provide proof of his/her visa refusal. This can be done by sending a copy of the ‘Refusal of Entry Clearance’ letter, from the Embassy or High Commission where the visa application was made, to the International Office.

A refund will not be given if:

  • The student has broken the law or conditions of his / her visa and, as a consequence, is required to leave the country;
  • The student has broken the terms and conditions of admission to the college;
  • The student wishes to leave the course for no clear reason.

For further details please refer to the Gower College Swansea Refund Policy.

All refunds are subject to a £250 administration charge.
