Students raise cash for Splash

Childcare students from Gower College Swansea are helping to raise money for the Penllergaer Splash Appeal.

The students – all on the BTEC National Diploma Children’s Care, Learning and Development course - will be fund raising for a hydrotherapy pool at Penllergaer Primary School.

The students have organised a cake sale and raffle, with some amazing prizes up for grabs including vouchers and a signed photo of the Swans.

They will then head into town where a sponsored walk will take place from the Quadrant bus station to Verdis in Mumbles.

The students have been generously supported by the following local businesses in their fundraising: Dyfed Steels; Cymru Hydraulics; Tectonics Drilling Services; Vicky’s Salon Inc / Kids Kutz; Seaside Tyres and Exhaust Centre; Windsor Glass; Tee-Hee Shirts and Rook’s Trophies and Engraving.
