These courses are suitable for anyone who wants to enhance their proficiency in English, Maths and Computing and build confidence. Whether you want to assist your children with homework, acquire qualifications to enhance employability, or embark on a career change, our programs are tailored to your needs.

• Perhaps you need to refine your punctuation, spelling, and grammar or prepare for interviews.

Courses are free, subject to eligibility.

Location: Llwyn y Bryn
Lessons will be classroom-based using a wide range of teaching methods.  

Course length:

AGORED Cymru classes are 2 hours a week for 10 weeks (for each subject) and City & Guilds Essential Skills Wales classes are 2 hours a week for 30 weeks (for each subject).

Assessment:

• AGORED Cymru:  Assessment of coursework - portfolio and completion of an Individual Learning Plan
• City & Guilds Essential Skills Wales:  In class written assessment (all levels), also confirmatory test for Level 1 & 2 (written or online) and completion of an Individual Learning Plan.
