Business with the London Institute of Banking and Finance Level 3 - Diploma
Overview
This two year course will offer students the opportunity to study a number of business functions including financial analysis, digital marketing, financial markets, money and banking, international business, business management, event management, human resource management, and marketing.
This course includes the professional qualification of the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF) which gives an excellent introduction to the area of financial services and advice.
This qualification is the equivalent of studying 4 A-levels.
Course Objectives:
Understand the principles of Banking and Finance nationally and internationally
Develop a full digital marketing campaign
Produce a business plan and online presence
Identify how to manage people, projects, and resources
Plan events with the use of digital and traditional marketing strategies.
Course Outcomes:
Students will be able to explain how business banking is evolving through digital disruption
Use digital marketing strategies to meet marketing objectives
Students will gain the attributes to run their own business
Be able to recommend business solutions to management and employee's problems
Students will be able to plan, cost and participate in a business event.
Key information
- A minimum of five GCSEs at grades A*-C, including Mathematics and English Language
- Or a Merit profile in BTEC Level 2 Business and Mathematics and English Language GCSE.

- External assessment (42%)
Units are assessed using a grading scale of Distinction (D), Merit (M), Pass (P). Qualifications are graded using a scale of PP to D*D* London Institute of Banking and Finance professional qualification is graded A-E.
